MPNE 2023
annual conference

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION 26th March

28th- 30th April 2023

Hotel Bloom, Brussels

After a break due to COVID, the annual MPNE conference is finally back! A lot has changed since our last annual meeting in 2019 and our community has evolved- and so has the MPNE program.

Our previous programs 'At the Edge' focused on the latest developments in various aspects of Melanoma- treatments but also research and policy. Any new development with impact or potential impact on our community.

MPNE2023 will be a slight twist on that theme: many of our community are active in initiatives, projects and programs at that very edge. And frequent feed-back we are getting is that people want to know more about the activities in our network. So this year's focus is a double one- the latest developments affecting us in Melanoma AND what we are doing about it: Standing at the Edge.

Looking forward to seeing you again in Brussels!

Bettina, Gilly, Fredrik and Violeta

Participation

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

We are looking for Melanoma patients, carers and advocates who want to learn as much as possible about Melanoma. The level of the conference is high- we believe that knowledge is a Melanoma patient's best chance to survive- and we expect participation throughout the event. If that's sounds scary, no worries, we don't bite. There will be lots of tools, resources, help and support available- we only expect you to make use of it!

HOW DO WE SELECT?

As always, participation is upon application only. First and foremost, we select based on motivation: so what do you hope to learn this time? And how do you intend to use it for the benefit of the larger Melanoma community?

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Accepted participants will receive free registration and full-board accommodation for the 2 nights (Fri, Sat) of the meeting. Extra nights are at participants' own expenses and need to be arranged by the participants themselves.

COVID PROVISIONS

We expect participants to comply by local rules and ensure they are sufficiently vaccinated. In line with general rules, there will be no mask mandate anymore. Participation in the event is at the participant's own risk.
